For our trip to Malaga, we went horseback riding! It was an absolutely beautiful day out– about 55-60 degrees F and sunny.
The stables also had a bed and breakfast right next to them. It was such a quant little place!
They had 4 of these Spanish water dogs running around. They were so cute and friendly!
This thing was huge (about the size of the palm of my hand) so I thought I would take a pic…
My horse and the one right behind me were the crazy ones. They kept trying to jump off cliffs and ramming other horses into the mountain. I didn’t grow up with horses so it was scary and funny at the same time! Steve just kept riding ahead of me. He checked on me a few times.
Plus, most of the people didn’t speak English on this tour so it was hilarious when I heard the guy behind me yelling, “Poo poo and pee pee!” in an Italian accent and laughing! The horses would stop when they had to use the bathroom, and all of us ranging in age from 18-65 were laughing. I guess things are still funny across different cultures, languages, and ages.
After the ride, we sat down together and had a traditional Spanish snack.
This was complete with water, wine, green olives,
prosciutto, cheeses, tomatoes with olive oil, oregano, and lots of raw garlic, and
Fresh crusty bread. Mmmmmm. This was all so good.
We were all reeking of garlic when we left, but it was totally worth it!
After that, we decided to pet the colts for a while.
They were so cute!!! They were so friendly, and just walked right up to us!
