Five years ago, the hubs and I took a huge leap of faith. We had two weeks to make the decision to get married at the courthouse in Tucson and move to Germany together two weeks after that. I think we were both really scared, but our gamble paid off.
Babe, I’ve always said this about you, and I will continue to say it: You are the best thing that ever happened to me. Thank you for loving me for who I am. I’m not the perfect southern girl you probably thought you were going to marry. You put up with my latin fieriness for better and for worse. I often have diarrhea of the mouth and pick up stray animals and people, and you haven’t left me yet. I’m quite impressed. I will be here to support you in accomplishing your dreams just like you are there for me. I love you! Here’s to many more happy years together!
