Training

Here is my training journal for the next 2012 racing season!  My “A” race is Ironman Lake Placid, and I have still yet to add more races in.

Very different from last season, I’m using a coach! Ack!  I’m actually going to have to trust someone to get me where I need to go.  This should be interesting!

For those of you training for a running race, and you don’t want to shell out the money for a coach, I totally recommend Runner’s World Smart Coach.  It is under the Tools tab on their website.  This is the best FREE running program that I have come across so far if you don’t like using a heart rate monitor because it is so individualized.  It helped me go sub-4 hours for my first marathon. 😉

Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that I have been working out for a while, and my body can handle this workload.  Please don’t try to do my workouts with me unless you KNOW that you can handle them!
